FULL DENTURES

Full dentures replace all of your natural teeth with false ones on a particular arch (upper or lower teeth). They are held in the mouth by natural suction and can be removed. Full dentures are one of the most difficult things to get right in terms of dentistry, so it’s recommended to use the services of a dental prosthetist, as these professionals specialise in denture fitting and manufacture.

The Process

Our dental prosthetists can provide customised full dentures to fit your particular mouth, ensuring comfort and maximising your ability to chew food, speak and smile. When building a full set of customised dentures, we make a mold of your teeth and gums. This mold ensures the best possible fit of your dentures when you’re ready to wear them. Once this is complete, your remaining teeth can be removed. After your natural teeth have been extracted, you can opt to be fitted with an immediate denture, or you can wait until your gums have fully healed before having your false teeth fitted.
